Became the highest wicket-taker in T20 cricket this year
Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, who has represented Pakistan in all three formats, has become the first Pakistani bowler to take five wickets in four matches in T20 cricket.
At the same time, he has surpassed Afghanistan's league sniper Rashid Khan in the list of bowlers who have taken the most wickets this year.
Shaheen Afridi is currently representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the National T20 Cup and won the award by taking five wickets for just 21 runs in the match against Sindh last night.
He has taken five wickets for the second time in three matches of this tournament. Earlier, he had bowled out five players for 20 runs in the match against Balochistan.

Shaheen Shah Afridi is now the second highest wicket-taker in T20 cricket with five wickets. Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga tops the list with five wickets in five matches so far.
However, Lasith Malinga has played 295 T20 matches while Shaheen Shah Afridi has played only 56 matches so far.
Apart from Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shakib Al Hasan and David Visa have also taken five wickets in four T20 matches.

Prior to Pakistan's T20 Cup, Shaheen had represented Hampshire County in England's Vitality Blast, taking six wickets for just 19 runs against Middlesex. Which is by far the best individual bowling of him and Hampshire County in the T20s.
In this match he took four wickets off four balls. He is one of the seven bowlers in the world to take four wickets off four balls in T20.
Shaheen Shah Afridi has taken 36 wickets so far in T20 matches this year. He is up against Afghanistan's sniper Rashid Khan, who is second with 33 wickets. Rashid Khan is currently representing Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL.
Great start to first class cricket and PSL
Shaheen Shah Afridi started his first-class career in September 2017 in a brilliant manner, taking eight wickets for just 49 runs in KRL's second innings by KRL, his first first innings by any bowler. Has the best individual bowling record in a class match.
Shaheen Afridi has not looked back since. He took a total of 12 wickets in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand, including an impressive six-wicket haul in the match against Ireland.
Seeing his talent, the coach of the Indian under-19 team Rahul Dravid had said that it would not take long for him to come into international cricket.
